Setting up a Board

Your Boards page

When you sign in, you will be directed to your boards page. Here, you will find a list of the meeting boards you are facilitator of or have been invited to as an attendee. Both LC and AD meeting boards are listed along with the date created and the facilitator(s). You may edit your own boards by clicking on the 3 dots next to the created date.

Creating a new board

You can create a new board by clicking on the ‘Create New’ button at the top of the menu.

Select the Lean Coffee meeting type and enter a meeting name.

Using integrated conferencing with Zoom

On the Customise Your Meeting screen, you may add a conference link. If you use Zoom, you can open your conference call from within the meeting board. This will help to keep focus on your meeting as attendees will not need to switch between screens.

Sending invites to your meeting

Facilitators may enter email addresses in the ‘Send Invites’ field. An email with a board link will be sent to each invitee. The email address and username of invited attendees with an LCT account, will appear in the Attendee list, on the board and in the meeting summary. You may delete users from the attendee list.

Attendees may also be invited from the board itself, once it has been created. Click on the 'Invite Attendee' button on the bottom right hand side of the board and enter addresses before clicking the + sign. Facilitators may also distribute the guest link to allow non-LCT account holders to join the board ('allow guests' must be enabled on the Customise your meeting screen).

Joining a meeting

As an Attendee

Attendees can join an LCT meeting by clicking on the board URL sent by the facilitator in the invite email. Once logged in, they will be directed straight to the board. If they do not already have an LCT account, they may go to Create Account and follow the steps to create an attendee account.

Attendees may view all of the boards they are invited to from the Boards page.

As a Guest

Clicking on the guest board link will allow a user to join the board without needing to have an account. Guests are only asked to enter a name which will appear on the board and in the Meeting summary.
